  • What's the dress code?
Formal with a French Summer Flair Ladies: Formal wedding attire, long dresses or suits of your choice. Light, breathable fabrics and soft, summery colours encouraged. Gentlemen: Formal wedding attire with a relaxed summer twist. Linen suits and lighter fabrics encouraged. Morning suits not required. Cultural or military dress always welcome!
  • Do I need a car?
A car may be useful as there are few taxis on the island. While you can get by with cycling and the island is well connected with a network of cycle paths, you may require a car to get down to the far end of the island to check out the lighthouse and beaches. It's also useful for grocery runs (difficult to balance a case of kronenberg and a magnum of rosé on a bicycle). There are a handful of taxis on the island but be warned they usually need to be pre booked. There will be a shuttle bus back to St Martin and La Flotte towns after the wedding.
  • When should I arrive on the island?
We will have welcome drinks on the Friday afternoon/evening, ceremony on the Saturday, and a recovery party on the Sunday. Please do stay until the Monday and make the most of the recovery party if you can. Guests are welcome to arrive at any time (we will be there for the week leading up to the wedding), there will be informal events earlier in the week but the real deal kicks off on Friday afternoon.
  • How do I get to and from the wedding?
There is parking at the wedding venue and it is safe to leave your car overnight. We have organised a shuttle bus at 1am to bring guests home from the wedding reception. This will stop in the centre of La Flotte and St Martin, the two closest towns to Fort de la Prée. Cars will need to be collected by Sunday evening (no rush in the morning).

Hoping to celebrate with you!
